Most recently I bought some cheese, you know those funky little red #babyBel cheeses. Here the RED DYE #40 comes from the wax that surrounds & stores the cheese. It was immediate when I took the first bite. A strong chemical taste.

Also, look at many of the hard candies & cough drops. I see RED #40 in a very popular cough drop in one of the areas I provide treatment & rehabilitation.Ā The employees can regularly pop 5/6 of these per show; that could be 10 exposures per night with a total of 50 over the course of the week! With 480 showsā¦you do the math on the levels of RED DYE! Yowsas!

Side note⦠RED #3 & 40 are legal for use in Europe USA. In Europe RED 40 must have the label āmay have adverse effect on activity and attention in childrenāĀ No warning label in the USA!–> this comes from ESTROGENERATION.

Mycoestrogens = The Fungus ESTROGENIC

Main Exposure is through cheap grains, corn, peanuts, chocolate,& coffee

Mycoestrogens also known as zearalenone(ZEA). Mycoestrogen is the fungus estrogenic & tends to be found in grains. But also found in Corn, Peanuts, Chocolate, & Coffee. You can avoid this by investing in better quality products & make sure they have not been sitting in the store for long.
_
Products made cheap and in huge amounts have a bigger chance of sitting in dark/damp environments. This leads to the growth of the estrogenic fungus! You could also work on limiting your consumption of these foods.
_
I tend to not eat corn or wheat products. When it comes to peanuts, I try to buy high quality organic peanut butter. The same goes for chocolate & coffee. My wife @ironbodybyartemis likes to buy small batch coffee. Itās wonderful! Right now, we are really digging @bluebeardcoffee
_
Side note⦠zearalenone(ZEA) is monitored and controlled in other countries. For example, Europeās allowable range of ZEA is between 20-350um/kg. In total 16 countries worldwide have ZEA limits.–> this comes from ESTROGENERATION. In the USA it is not monitored and controlled!

Soy is seeming to be in everything these days. Soy is a top estrogenic and we should avoid all forms of it.Ā You can find this in so many places, because soy is cheap. Its produced in abundance & sold cheap.Ā So its used as an additive in so many things. Seriously, take a look at the label of lots of proceeded foods.Ā You will find SOY in many of them. Especially so called āhealthyā foods.

FLAX. These days flax seems to be in everything. Flax is like the next god sent health food.Ā It seems to be in any and every food these days. This is turning into the next soy. It seems like food manufactures are throwing this in just to call it healthy. Well, gentlemen, avoid it.Ā No forms are good. Just cut it out!

LAVENDER. This is mainly found in our soaps and through oil diffusers. Its pretty easy to avoid, just read the labels and stop using it! Easy!
_
CANNABIS. Eating and smoking this tends to be the main exposure.Ā So just eliminate this use of cannabis & you are all good!
_
So far it seems that the use of CBD oil is safe, and CBD is NOT estrogenic. So, if your using cannabis as a pain reliever or anti-inflammatory substance, then it looks to be cool. I personally use CBD and feel it works great if used as recommended. Also, make sure you are getting the real thing.

Crush the SHOULDERS & also train your Torso, Hip, back & shoulders in a fundamental pattern!Ā

Lateral and Front Raises are great to develop the shouldersā¦& of course why wouldnāt I add in a RFESS!

Grab a light to moderate load and work on lateral and front raises with the rear foot elevated split squat.
_
These simple 2 moves will give you some great definition to the shoulders.Ā Plus, I get to practice an isometric hold at the bottom of the RFESS while doing the shoulder raises!

At the Bottom of the RFESS I am holding my core tight and also my back-leg glute.Ā Essentially doing an isometric of the torso and legs while I hit my shoulders!

Isometric are a great way to practice and master areas of difficult movements.Ā The bottom of the RFESS can be very challenging with a heavy load.Ā Here I am hitting a solid pause with an isometric to help me drive out of the bottom.

- Get your hips & core activated with the Hip Bridge: Chest Press to Pull over. This hip bridge while holding weights gets great hip activation & maybe more importantly core activation. The challenge here is to keep your ribs glued down & donāt them go as the arms go through the Pull Over!

- Work the Chest with this classic chest press. Burn out the chest with this simple chest press motion.

- Work the Lat and Triceps with the Pull Over! My man and awesome strength coach @aaron_ausmus can be routinely seen crushing the Pull Over for huge gains!
