LONG WORK…SHORT REST: BUILD MUSCLE & BURN FAT TRAINING BASED OFF TIME

Did you know longer work and shorter rest with moderate load can help you to build muscle and burn fat?

Setting a timer on an interval timer such as a GYMBOSS APP on your phone can help you to train more efficiently and more effectively!

_

All of my programs for rehabilitation & strength & conditioning are based off timed intervals.  The interval could be 15sec, 30sec, or 1min with a certain amount of rest!  It all depends on the day & or week in the program.

  1. A Leopard Crawl Row 30s Right & 30s Left

  1. A Push Up to a Row 30s Right & 30s

With these two movements I was able to rock my core and build great push and pull movements with load.  Work here is one total min and about 15sec to the next movement in the Circuit Shred, this is one way you can burn fat and build muscle.  Its not always about pushing and pull a huge heavy load!

  1. An iso deep squat or goblet squat hold with a steel mace.  Holding the mace with a straight arm for about 15s Right & 15s Left

  1. A Squat with a Steel Mace Swing (please this mace swing is by no means good) I will continue to work on it & learn about the steel mace.  But that’s the fun of training, using & learning tools while still getting stronger & leaner!

Did you know you can build muscle & burn off fat at the same time?

A popular debate these days seems to be a “myth” you can’t build muscle and burn fat at the same time. YES, YOU can in fact accomplish this goal!

Here are my 5 Rules to BUILD MUSCLE & BURN FAT.

  1. Be Patient

_

  1. Be Consistent

_

I list these two together because they tend to be the hardest sometimes. In this day & age of wanting fast results, accomplishing the goal of building muscle & burning fat takes time and consistency. As long as you have guidance, in your goals…Just keep working! The results will start happening, & when they do…it’s like a domino effect…they just keep going.

_

  1. Follow a Program/Plan

_

This goes for Workouts & Nutrition. In my experiences for many areas in life, especially training and nutrition. The most successful people follow plans & stick to them. Have a Plan & stick to it!

_

  1. Get Sleep

_

7-8 Hours. This is when your body is rebuilding & recovering.  Sleep will also help with hormone balance. Sleep is so very important. Get your Zzzzz’s

_

  1. Mange Stress

This goes for work, life, training, and yes nutrition. I find the best results to give me accurate measurements of life stress is watching my @whoop strap.  The strap is spot on for giving me daily guidance for all stresses in life!

_

The BIRTHCONTROL ESTROGENTIC

Main Exposure is through Birth control pills & reclaimed/recycled water.

_

OK, so men, I know you will not be taking birth control pills, but some of these posts are for any and everyone! So, women, if your taking BC pills. Its not’s good idea.

_

Secondly, with more than 60% of married women on the planet taking chemical contraceptives containing E22. They eventually get urinated out. That means it ends up in water, & in drinking water. Men, this is how you can be exposed to this chemical at a high level. It’s also in the water that is used for irrigating our lawn, gardens, & homes–>this comes from ESTROGENERATION

Best thing to do, women look for a different contraceptive. Men & Women, look to have your water completely filtered. Most water treatment do a great job of killing bacteria & cleaning the water. But hormones are not removed.–>check out ESTROGENERATION & Anthony Jay’s website for recommendations.

Unfortunately, you cannot completely avoid this one. It seems to be in everything these days.

Good thing is that the research shows it to be lower on the list of estrogenics. Just do your best to read labels and limit exposure.

Many times, we are breathing these in without even knowing it!

Europe has gone ahead an banned several parabens for use in cosmetics. USA continues to ignore them and use them widely.–> this comes from ESTROGENERATION.

RED DYE #3 & #40!

The ARTIFICIAL RED FOOD COLOR ESTROGENTIC

_

Main Exposure is through pretty much any fake color RED.

_

This one is found in most foods with the color red! If your food is RED, chances are it is red because of RED DYE NUMBER 3 or RED DYE NUMBER 40

_

Just ready the label & look to avoid RED #3 or RED #40.

_

I feel like you can taste this immediately when it is added to a food. It has such a strong chemical taste.  You will notice it if you eat really clean.

_

Most recently I bought some cheese, you know those funky little red #babyBel cheeses. Here the RED DYE #40 comes from the wax that surrounds & stores the cheese. It was immediate when I took the first bite. A strong chemical taste.

_

Also, look at many of the hard candies & cough drops. I see RED #40 in a very popular cough drop in one of the areas I provide treatment & rehabilitation. The employees can regularly pop 5/6 of these per show; that could be 10 exposures per night with a total of 50 over the course of the week! With 480 shows…you do the math on the levels of RED DYE! Yowsas!

Side note… RED #3 & 40 are legal for use in Europe USA. In Europe RED 40 must have the label “may have adverse effect on activity and attention in children” No warning label in the USA!–> this comes from ESTROGENERATION.

_

We cannot avoid all estrogenics but we can avoid some. Avoiding RED DYE 3 and 40 will help significantly.

Make sure you wash your fruits & veggies well. Or try to purchase some that are organic. Especially the ones you eat whole. Like apples, grapes, broccoli! Nom Nom Broccoli! You get the point!

FUNGUS!!

Mycoestrogens = The Fungus ESTROGENIC

_

Main Exposure is through cheap grains, corn, peanuts, chocolate,& coffee

_

Mycoestrogens also known as zearalenone(ZEA). Mycoestrogen is the fungus estrogenic & tends to be found in grains. But also found in Corn, Peanuts, Chocolate, & Coffee. You can avoid this by investing in better quality products & make sure they have not been sitting in the store for long.

_

Products made cheap and in huge amounts have a bigger chance of sitting in dark/damp environments. This leads to the growth of the estrogenic fungus! You could also work on limiting your consumption of these foods.

_

I tend to not eat corn or wheat products. When it comes to peanuts, I try to buy high quality organic peanut butter. The same goes for chocolate & coffee. My wife @ironbodybyartemis likes to buy small batch coffee. It’s wonderful! Right now, we are really digging @bluebeardcoffee

_

Side note… zearalenone(ZEA) is monitored and controlled in other countries. For example, Europe’s allowable range of ZEA is between 20-350um/kg. In total 16 countries worldwide have ZEA limits.–> this comes from ESTROGENERATION. In the USA it is not monitored and controlled!

_

We cannot avoid all estrogenics but we can avoid some. Avoiding cheap forms of grains, corn, peanuts, chocolate & coffee will help significantly.
