I’m talkin’ BEANS & SOME VEGGIES = FODMAPs

Did you know…These are longer chains of sugar that humans do not have the enzymes to digest?
_
They Fall in “O” of FODMAPs
_
Oligosaccharides – fructans (FOS)& galactooligosaccarides (GOS)
_
Foods such as:
Broccoli
Onions
Garlic
Beans
_
They are helpful in some, but many humans have issues with these foods. They may notice gas, bloating, wind(rootin’ & tootin’), diarrhea.
_
When eating these foods you may want to think about rotating them in moderation. Small portions of them work best & rotate them from meal to meal & day to day.
_
Personally, I cannot tolerate any of them. It’s a bummer because I LOVE broccoli! But the discomfort & gas I get from eating is not fun & not fair to my wife @ironbodybyartemis
